Another fishing option at Alaska's Clearwater Lodge is to fly-out to fish one of the world reknown streams in our area.
|
Clearwater Lodge is centrally located being only 23 miles from the mouth of Lower Talarik Creek, as well as being only 27 miles from the mouth of Moraine Creek. In addition we are also only 27 miles from the headwaters of American Creek.

Another famous stream is Battle Creek, on Kukaklek Lake, and is only 32 miles away.
Some of the rivers we can fly to have nice wide stream beds which gives you lots of room to cast.

| Fly-outs to the various rivers and streams are a great way to see the Alaska Wilderness! |
|
Some of the possible fly-out destinations have slow water, while others have much faster water. There is a wide variety in the types of streams in our area.

| Most of the waters are clear in our fly-out destinations. |

 |
Still another well known river is the Gibraltor, which is 36 miles away and Upper Talarik Creek at 32 miles.
|
| The potential for Bear Viewing is great as well during the fly-outs. |
|

The upper stretches of the Koktuli are only 32 miles away and the Stuyahok is the same, 32 miles.

We are lucky that Clearwater Lodge is located in an area with superb fishing and that we don't have to fly out to get our Guests into the best Rainbow Trout and Sockeye Salmon fishing in the world. It's all right near the lodge.
But it is nice that we are so centrally located that some of the most well known trout streams in Alaska are only from 23 to 36 miles away. Flying out to these streams only takes a few minutes.
NOTE: Fly-out prices are based on chartered rates and are not included in the regular price of Clearwater Lodge's fishing packages.
